Storyteller VS. Co-Storyteller, (Narrator)

If you take a question to one and they make a ruling, do not go to the next and ask for a different outcome, for we do communicate. Failure to follow this may lead to a 3 dan ban for the first offense.

In no way attempt to play one ST against the others this will not be taken lightly and will end in a possible 3 day ban for a first offense.

QUESTIONS and CONCERNS

Questions and concerns are welcome. Once a ruling has been made in a thread feel free to question in PM. Starting a thread, even an OOC one to continue questioning the ruling is rude and undermines the power of the ST in question. Doing this WILL result in a Week Ban on the first offense. We take this kind of thing SEROUSLY.

ST IS GOD

The staff has been made aware that some PC's may be looking to do things behind the scenes and have the end result be a surprise.

Where as this is a great idea, the conversations, meetings, and plannings of such events never take place if the Splat ST has not seen any of the Chat Logs or PM's. All your hard work could go to waist as soon as you spring it and the ST in question has never heard of it.

For your own safety and not to see your plans get flushed down the drain, where as it might be grand if the ST don't know it never happaned.

Along this note, any IN-GAME PM needs to go to the ST so that they are aware of it as well. This way if your character all of a sudden has information that they were not in a scene to receive you will not get the Meta-Gaming flag tossed at you and receive a warning for using OOC information.

If the Vampire ST’s Do not know about it, it never happened.

DIE ROLLS

Dice rolls are to be made only when a situation truly warrents it. If you throw dice remember this means that any and all in the scene will have a chance to throw dice to counter it. Please limit die rolls to those asked by the Staff.

Die rolls mar the flow of a scene please use the Spoil code to hide said die rolls or PM them to your ST.

To use the spoil funcition it is done as such

Code:
[spoil ] Your Die Roll[/spoil ]

[spoil]Your Die Roll[/spoil]

Please use one of the above tactics for die rolls.

Players have two weeks from the time of Forum registration to submit a character. If a character is not submitted within this two week period, the Forum account will be deleted. We apologize for this stipulation but we have experienced many account registrations with no character or posting follow-up. If you have a time constraint on your game-play availability, please contact one of our ST's and inform them. We do understand that people have lives, families, and jobs that must come first in everyday life.

You MUST be 16 or older to be a member of this site. This is a role-playing site based in a world filled with violence and horror. This is NOT a site for children. If you are under 16 you will be denied membership.

Please do not bash other storytelling web sites here. We will not tolerate that kind of negativity. If you had a bad experience on another site and wish to vent about it, we suggest you get a Facebook account and vent about it in your blog.

We will not allow any scenes involving rape. Anyone posting such scenes will be immediately banned. There will not be a warning period for this infraction.

All rules in all books are guidelines. We do exercise creative license.
